IT Asset Support Analyst (Aerospace) - Hertfordshire (Hybrid) - £40K - DV/SC Clearance require

The Role
Working with the Service Manager and reporting to the Solution owner providing software & hardware confirguration support.
- Audit/manage Programme assets.
- Administer the Asset Database and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Administer the Licence Management database.
- Act as the Programme's focal point for hardware & software acquisition through liaison with SSL Procurement Team.
Accountabilities
- Propose, agree and implement an Asset & Configuration Management function for the Programme.
- Accountable for the daily management of hardware and software asset information.
- Gather and maintain essential information such as asset location, asset quantities, identifiers (e.g. serial numbers) and audit status.
- Liaise with Programme, SSL and customer personnel to ensure that assets are managed to meet their needs.
- Assume ownership of the Programme's hardware bill of materials and coordinate the acquisition of hardware assets via the SSL Procurement Team.
- Conduct sampling reviews and audits to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the equipment management, information and process delivery.
