Information on the role
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality, safety, & time standards are kept
- Proactively manage the maintenance teams, reports & communication
- Supervise & execute general garden maintenance i.e., mowing, pruning, mulching, irrigation, & pre-planting area preparations
- Ensure proper care & maintenance of equipment
- Cover & support teams during annual leave & or sick leave as required
- Ensure all team leaders are adequately equipped
- Schedule & conduct team meetings
- Enforce Health & Safety procedures
- Attend & report in fortnightly management meetings
- Resource & Schedule adjustments
- Ensure lockups are kept tidy, safe, & well stocked
- Plan, price, & supervise small landscape improvement projects
What we'd like from you
- Experience in high-end residential Garden Maintenance/Soft Landscaping & a Management/Team Leader role.
- Knowledge of garden maintenance operations, horticulture (planting, pruning, fertilising, etc.)
- Basic First aid or Greater
- Desirable: RHS Level 2 or equivalent
- Desirable: PA1 & PA6 Spraying certificates
- Desirable: Horticulture qualification or certificate
- Driving license
