Claims Handler Location: Shrewsbury Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

We proud to represent a well-established, traditional commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team in Shrewsbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage insurance claims for our commercial clients
  • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other relevant parties
  • Ensure claims are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients
  • Identify potential issues and escalate complex claims when necessary

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance claims handling
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) preferred
  • Experience with paper-based systems and Acturis software
  • Comfortable working with both traditional and digital processes
