If either applies to you, an 'outstanding' school in Maidenhead have an SEN Teacher position available for a qualified teacher to join their team in the next academic year. The school provide personalised education to children with dyslexia, speech and/or language impairments, physical disabilities and autism, and are looking for an SEN Teacher to help them achieve their potential!

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for classes of 5-10 students with the help of classroom assistants and on site professionals. The day to day of an SEN Teacher will include creating a safe learning environment and positive, engaging lesson plans for all students. Each student will have varying individual needs and learning styles, meaning you will create tailored lesson plans and modified tasks as needed.

The role includes assessing students' individual progress, identify areas of improvement and adapt as necessary. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial part In building students' life skills and independence. The school are looking for an SEN Teacher who possess QTS and experience teaching young people. Past experience working with students with additional needs would be desirable.
