Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Gloucester, GL4
Pay Rate: £11.44p/h - £13.00 p/h, DOE
Contract: Temporary to perm
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600
gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting a Fabricator to join their manufacturing company based in Gloucester. As a Fabricator you will be manufacturing windows and doors.

Main Duties as a Fabricator - full training will be given for the below role:
- Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
- experienced with aluminum doors and windows production.
- To carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.
- Fault find and report any defects or problems
- Contributing to daily targets
- To carry out all quality control checks as required.
- To ensure the production area is kept in a clean operative state.
- To provide cover in other areas of production when required.
- Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are met at all times.
- Identifying any potential safety issues.
- Any other duties that may be required.
Successful candidate will have basic engineering and design experience, and will be able to use hand tolls and power tools. Ideal individual will have experience also in working with wood previously.
Minimum of skills required for the role:
- Previous experience in the glazing industry is essential
- Ability to read fabrication drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to lift doors on off the worktables
Working Shifts and Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 4:00pm
Hourly Pay Rates
- £11.44 p/h - £13 p/h, depending on experience.
