An exciting opportunity to join a leading investment fund media brand as a financial news reporter, responsible for developing the brand and creating engaging content for the news site. Content will include reactive, on-the-day news relating to the investment fund industry as well as larger feature pieces for the website, magazine and reports.

What you'll be doing

  • Write articles on topics including ETFs, Smart Beta, Indexing, Passive Funds
  • Meet and build relationships with key individuals in Europe's ETF industry
  • Develop an understanding of ETFs
  • Contribute regular creative ideas and discover interesting stories for daily and monthly content
  • Provide valuable coverage of the ETF industry for the website
  • Write content for daily publishing on social media
  • Adapt content quickly based on performance
  • Produce multi-media content for the website (video interviews, animations)
  • Learn over time what content performs best for our customers and adjust content ideas accordingly
  • Produce copy for multiple channels (web, event, print, social media, blogs etc.)
  • Quickly grasp an understanding of the ETF industry and the key individuals from across the ecosystem
  • Work with a small but growing, diverse team, who come from a variety of backgrounds including journalism, communications, financial services, sales and marketing
  • Represent the company at various events and engage with key industry experts

About you

  • 1-2 years' experience as a journalist covering asset management
  • Desire to learn about a rapidly developing industry
  • Proven experience in journalism or demonstrable enthusiasm to be a first-rate reporter
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-energy environment
  • Keen interest in finance
  • A passion for research and story-telling
