Berry Recruitment is collaborating with one of our well known clients to find an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with the office located in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Role: Assistant Accountant
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid - dependind on experience
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
- Preparation and processing of weekly/monthly payroll.
- Supporting in month-end, year-end, and Management Accounts processes.
- Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Working closely with the management to achieve financial targets.
The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
- Proficient in using Xero system.
- Capability to work under pressure with good attention to detail.
- Ability to use your own initiative and think outside of the box.
