We are looking for an experiencedHR Advisor to join a fab employer based in the West Sussex area. The HR Advisor will be working within their busy HR team, working on a hybrid basis, supporting the HR function in providing advice and guidance, recruitment cycle, HR policies, procedures, performance management and employee wellbeing.
Salary: up to £45K + excellent company benefits
Hours: 35 hour working week Mon-Fri
Location: Hybrid working
HR Advisor duties:
- Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues
- Ensure accurate records of staff absence and approved leave are maintained
- Make sure all HR related policies are regularly reviewed
- Assist with the new starter process including collating new employee files, sending offer packs, issuing of contracts, following up relevant administration etc.
- Provide generalist experience across a range of HR issues leading to the design and implementation of solutions
- Assist the HR administrators with ensuring the SAP system is kept up-to-date and that accurate electronic personnel files are maintained for the network and information is relevant.
- Support Managers and employees in all aspects of employee welfare, performance, development and progression
- Assist the HR Manager with induction and training events
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working in a similar HR Advisory, HR Generalist type role
- CIPD Level 5
- Previous HR experience of managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance and performance processes
- Good IT skills - Google, Word, Excel and ideally have used SAP
