Customer Service Administrator

We are seeking an Experienced Customer Service Administrator to join one of our clients based in the Leigh on Sea area.

For the right candidate, this position could go permanent.

You would be able to perform the following duties:

  • Stock Monitoring:

Monitor stock levels daily, check stock availability for the company website, and production of weekly stock sheets for area reps and major trade customers.

  • Warehouse Liaison:

Coordinate with the warehouse regarding stock availability and customer requirements.

  • Product Dispatch:

Ensure timely dispatch of all products through various couriers (DHL, Evri, FedEx) and logistics freight forwarders for pallet orders, meeting required dates. Book deliveries with customers (both trade and public) and arrange pallet collections with logistics companies. Chase deliveries for customers as needed.

  • Customer Enquiries:

Answer general customer enquiries, including product problem-solving, in a professional manner via telephone and written communication.

  • Office Duties:

Perform general day-to-day office duties, including filing and post office tasks.

  • Credit Requests:

Investigate and raise credit requests in collaboration with Accounts.

  • Email Monitoring:

Monitor various company email accounts .

  • Warranty and Spare Parts:

Handle warranty issues, spare parts requests, and general queries.

Required:

  • Previous experience in customer service and/or administration.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using office software and data entry systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with logistics and courier services is desirable.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am–5.00pm

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
