About the Role:

As the Bank's Compliance Monitoring Manager you will work to ensure the Bank's compliance with current and forthcoming applicable financial crime regulatory regimes. The team is responsible for maintaining the adequacy and effectiveness of the Financial Crime Policy, Customer Due Diligence Procedures and Financial Crime Procedures and provides Departments with advice, support and guidance on financial crime matters in order to help them achieve their objectives whilst ensuring that the Bank continues to operate within its risk appetite.

Your Responsibilities:

The main focus of the Compliance Monitoring Manager will be to support the delivery of the Bank's Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Plan and perform horizon scanning.

As the Compliance Monitoring Manager you will assist the Financial Crime Manager in the execution of the Financial Crime Monitoring Plan, by designing test scripts, completing testing and report writing related to Financial Crime assurance reviews

Propose actions to address root causes and identifying opportunities through Monitoring work to support the improvement of processes and procedures

Tracking of review actions and providing updates on closure progress to the Financial Crime Manager

Ensure that regulatory requirements are being met and applied across a number of financial crime areas, perform effective and timely horizon scanning, assisting the Financial Crime Manager in providing guidance to the business on papers/guidance and regulatory change

Supporting the Financial Crime Manager in the drafting and revising of documentation related to the Bank's monitoring systems and Financial Crime Policy and Procedures.

Assist in delivering Financial Crime Training for employees across the Bank.
