  • Salary Range: £23,500 - £30,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience
  • Location: Romford, RM3
  • Job Type: Part-Time 20 hours per week
  • 6-month fixed term contract - could go permanent if successful

We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join my clients team on a part-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks and will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and professional team that delivers high-quality installations and office solutions across the UK.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Posting invoices onto Sage50 Accounts.
  • Processing bank statements and reconciliation against Sage.
  • Monitoring aged creditors reports.
  • Supporting the processing and submission of VAT and CIS returns.
  • Raising and posting invoices.
  • Allocating receipts and posting credit card statements to appropriate budget codes.
  • Managing the PAYE process each month and submitting reports to an external accountant for processing.
  • Assisting in the creation of Year-End accounts for external accountants.
  • Liaising with clients and customers by telephone and email.
  • Maintaining and updating Excel trackers.
  • Purchasing and ordering materials.
  • Assisting in estimations and supporting with monthly applications for projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and experience with Sage50 Accounts.
  • Proficiency in Office365 Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
