Job Overview:

Our client, the world's leading independent soft drinks manufacturer, are seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Nelson, Lancashire. This role is pivotal in ensuring that some of the UK's best-known drink brands are manufactured to the highest quality and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.

Lead maintenance and continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance.

Work on processing equipment such as pipework, pumps, silos, and turning equipment.

Utilise PLC knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures.

Suggest and implement new ideas and improvements.

About You:

Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.

Multi-skilled background with an electrical bias.

Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing environments.

Confident and proactive in putting forward new ideas and suggestions.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

PLC knowledge and experience.

18th Edition qualification (preferable).

Experience with processing equipment, including pipework, pumps, silos, and turning equipment.
