The Head of Data is tasked with supervising the management and governance of 6DG data, as well as formulating future strategies concerning these data assets.
You'll be accountable for spearheading essential initiatives aimed at establishing, integrating, and enforcing data governance. Additionally, the role will involve ensuring that data ownership and stewardship responsibilities are clearly documented and comprehended, enhancing data quality, minimizing the need for cross-system reconciliation, decreasing operational complexity, streamlining design and implementation processes, enabling rapid insights for informed decision-making, and alleviating potential integration challenges in the future.
A key focus of the role will include taking ownership of Information oversight and governance,Data operations management, Identification and consolidation (record linkage as well as merging & consolidation), Integration (application integration with Master Data andMDM component service layer management),Business process management, Analytics & MI/BI management (Data collection & preparation,Data interpretation & analysis,Report development/maintenance/ optimisation etc), Audit management etc.
We think it's important that you're ITIL V4 certified and be CDMP certified as well. Candidates should be able to demonstrateprevious experience of successfully driving data improvement/governance initiatives and experience of successfully driving data improvement/governance initiatives we'd love to hear from you.
Candidates should have had experience in leading auditing of processes with external parties e.g. ISO or Azure MSP and performing in a senior operations role that involves owning data management processes.
