NEW OPPORTUNITY: BESS Electrical Engineer - £70,000 DOE - UK wide (Hybrid)

Piper Maddox is working with an internationally renowned renewable energy company who have experienced impressive growth over the last few years. Due to this, they are seeking a BESS Engineer to oversee some of the UK's most cutting-edge renewable energy projects. This is your chance to join one of the world's leading EPC's who have over 5GW of capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical designs for BESS projects (DC/AC systems).
- Create layouts, schematics, and perform cable sizing and protection design.
- Review technical specifications and assess project risks.
- Collaborate with OEMs and stakeholders to align on technical requirements.
- Provide support during construction and ensure designs are executed accurately.
Skills:
- Experience in energy storage or renewable energy.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and knowledge of UK/international standards.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- UK driving license required.
