I am recruiting an Accounts Manager for an independent 3 partner accountancy practice based in North London. With a workforce of c.30 employees, this a key role overseeing the accounts department, and you will be joining a friendly firm with true work-life balance.

What will this Accounts Manager entail?
- Responsible for managing a client portfolio, consisting of a wide range of industries including property, construction, and hospitality
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of corporation tax returns
- Work alongside client managers and partners
- Supervising Juniors, reviewing work and training and development
- Liaising directly with clients by email, phone and attending client visits
The ideal Accounts Manager will:
- QBE, ACCA or ACA Qualified
- 5-10 years UK accountancy practice experience
- Conversant in accounts and bookkeeping software: CCH/Xero/Sage/QuickBooks
- Experience preparing statutory accounts from primary records to completion
First stage interviews are taking place of zoom first stage, with second stage interviews happening face to face in the offices.
