Employment Solicitor/CILEX Position
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment solicitor or CILEX to join our small team on a full-time or part-time basis for up to one year. The role involves handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective advice to public sector clients on employee relations matters.
- Review policies, procedures, and contracts.
- Advise on equalities obligations.
- Conduct and support employment tribunals.
- Advise on TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings - Protection of Employment) and a wide range of other employment issues.
Preferred Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
- In-depth understanding of primary and secondary legislation as it pertains to local authorities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of changes in the legal field.
