Warehouse and Purchasing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client based in High Wycombe. This is a varied, dual role where you will be managing the warehouse and also responsible for the company purchasing.

The successful candidate will be hands on in the warehouse, unloading and loading deliveries. They'll also have good IT skills and able to drive a forklift.

The role is Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm depending on the business needs.

Duties include

  • Managing the warehouse to ensure the correct and organised storage of all stock
  • Unloading deliveries
  • Loading company vehicles ready for orders to be delivered
  • Responsible for company purchases, including raising of purchase orders
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Matching invoices
  • Assisting with the general facility management of the factory including arranging subcontractors for works

Skills/Experience

  • Experience of managing a warehouse would be ideal
  • Experience of purchasing
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised
  • Driving license and comfortable driving a van is preferable
  • Good IT Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Able to drive a forklift
