The Job
A Financial Controller will be hired for a period of 12 months. This role reports to the CFO and works closely with the MD of the site day to day and is a stand alone finance opportunity. Hybrid working can be accommodated.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the financial statements for the SLT and undertake all accounting related activities
- Ensure internal controls are adhered to.
- Financial reporting.
- Job costings
- Analysis and providing insight to the SLT to enable good commercial decisions
- Track performance of projects and WIP
The business
Part of large group and well established business
About You
- Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Experienced to Controller level
- Up to date knowledge of accounting standards and legislation
- Strong Excel and accounting software
- Manufacturing or Construction experience is preferred
