In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Managing Director, overseeing the company's financial management and contributing significantly to the seamless operation of the business.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- General accounting tasks, including sales and purchase ledgers
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Overseeing credit control
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Managing staff payroll and pensions
- Processing monthly management accounts, including VAT returns and year-end activities
- Handling intercompany balances and reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including expertise in VAT returns and managing multiple bank accounts across various companies. Strong IT proficiency, excellent numeracy skills, and outstanding written communication abilities are essential.
