Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level support to the workshop
- Designing repair schemes under EASA/UK CAA 145 and UK CAA Part 21J approval
- Liaising with OEMs and preparing in-depth reports
- Developing structurally acceptable and cost-effective repair schemes for various aerospace components
- Drawing basic engineering drawings using CATIA
- Conducting damage investigations and compiling reports
- Providing full technical support to production teams
- Carrying out stress analysis in support of the Repair Approval process
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
- Proven record of producing solutions to diverse engineering projects
- Understanding of aerospace repair processes and experience in repair design
- Experience with aircraft engine nacelles and composite materials
- Ability to liaise with regulatory bodies, OEMs, and vendors on technical issues
- Proficiency in CATIA and standard software tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Current driver's licence and passport
