Repair Engineer - CVE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-level support to the workshop
  • Designing repair schemes under EASA/UK CAA 145 and UK CAA Part 21J approval
  • Liaising with OEMs and preparing in-depth reports
  • Developing structurally acceptable and cost-effective repair schemes for various aerospace components
  • Drawing basic engineering drawings using CATIA
  • Conducting damage investigations and compiling reports
  • Providing full technical support to production teams
  • Carrying out stress analysis in support of the Repair Approval process

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
  • Proven record of producing solutions to diverse engineering projects
  • Understanding of aerospace repair processes and experience in repair design
  • Experience with aircraft engine nacelles and composite materials
  • Ability to liaise with regulatory bodies, OEMs, and vendors on technical issues
  • Proficiency in CATIA and standard software tools
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Current driver's licence and passport
