A well respected, high-growth organisation based in West London is looking for a highly motivated and resourceful IT Applications Analyst (Automation) to join their Data Automation Management team. The successful candidate will have experience in VBA, Power Automate or PowerShell with expertise in SharePoint and M365 applications. This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

As an IT Applications Analyst (Automation) you will:

  • Development and maintenance of automation using tools such as Visual Basic Applications (VBA) / Power Automate / PowerShell.
  • Provide support, advice and training to all users, enabling correct use of apps, including M365 apps (Power Automate, Power BI, MS Teams, MS Forms), run XLookups and VLookups in Excel for list comparisons, Adobe.
  • Migrate data from Network Drives to SharePoint.
  • Undertake SharePoint Admin tasks - site creation, site design (webparts), bulk adding of users, retrieval (search), bulk metadata changes and versioning.
  • Assist with bulk uploads of data to sites, using VBA and PowerShell.
  • Provide advice and training to all users, enabling correct use of the SharePoint System.
  • Support with running compliance checks to ensure system integrity, such as running user activity reports.
  • Prepare reports to ensure information is processed to required compliance standards.

As an IT Applications Analyst (Automation) you need:

  • Experience as an IT local Administrator for business applications such as SharePoint / EDMS / other.
  • Experience using automation tools such as VBA or PowerShell or Power Automate. Comfortable applying Variables, Branching (If, Else statements), Loops and similar programming language elements.
  • Ability to code using JavaScript.
  • Strong IT troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, comfortable running XLookups or VLookups, manipulating data in Excel.
  • Proven attention to detail, thorough, accurate and concern for all areas involved.
  • Driven to achieve results - enjoys setting own standards and checking work.
