About the role

In this role you will be part of the high performing Finance team responsible for providing a financial business partnering service to the Operations and Resources directorates.

You will be responsible for calculating service charges in line with policy, act as the lead on the preparation of service charge audits and variable service charge reconciliations, setting service charges for new developments and being the key contact for service charges.

The role also has responsibility for assisting in the production of the Group monthly management accounts, production of specific working papers for the statutory accounts, sector scorecard, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.

You will need experience of working in a finance team and experience of interpreting complex or difficult data.

You will also need to be working towards or prepared to work towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a natural problem solver and very strong ICT skills to analyse data and improve processes.
