Salary: £30,296 - £32,076 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

HR Co-ordinatorThe Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR Coordinator to join our ambitious HR team. This is a new role and a unique opportunity for an innovative HR professional to challenge the status quo and make significant contributions to shaping the future of the role, team and service.

With great people and communication skills, and a passion for all aspects of the role, you will be a very important cog within our team. Where no two days will be the same, this role would suit an individual who has experience within a fast – paced HR team who also enjoys a varied role and delivering improvements.

HR Co-ordinator – Key Responsibilities:

  • Support employees and managers throughout the whole employee lifecycle from new starters to post employment
  • Provide first line HR advice and guidance to the Executive Leadership team, Directors, managers and colleagues on employment matters, offering innovative, practical solutions
  • Assist with the co-ordination training for employees, input new starters, leavers, change of details onto CBC's LMS
  • Oversee the on-boarding process for all new starters, including producing contracts, assisting managers, inputting new starter details on the system and completing relevant new starter checks
  • Oversee the leaver process for employees leaving the Council, including distributing exit questionnaires, reviewing the results and arranging exit interviews

HR Co-ordinator – You:

  • CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent qualifications/skills gained through experience
  • A Level or equivalent
  • Proven HR Administration/Co-ordinator experience
  • Good understanding of current employment law and HR best practice
  • Be self-motivated and manage your own workload with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
