Join a rapidly growing technology company, as a Finance Manager to support our Chief Finance Officer in running the Finance Practice. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the Finance Team, ensuring updated procedures and financial records are maintained for efficiency. Day to Day of the role:

  • Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
  • Compile and analyse account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Maintain accounting controls by recommending policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits, resolve discrepancies, and assist in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Manage financial metrics, including investments, return on assets, and growth rates.
  • Post customer invoices, vendor invoices, and GL transactions.
  • Keep accurate records of invoices and tax payments and manage company liabilities.
  • Participate in payroll processes and manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable and prepare payments by verifying documentation.
  • Review and process reimbursements and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Analyse market trends to discover business opportunities and maximise profits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics preferably and qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc.)
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Experience with investor-led initiatives or activities such as funding rounds is highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial Excel functions).
  • Excellent analytical skills, understanding of business processes, and systems optimisation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
