Quality / Technical Assistant

Are you passionate about quality? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key? Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented Quality / Technical Assistant to join their team in Stoke.

In this exciting role, you will collaborate with our Quality and Technical Managers to ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards. You will play a crucial role in reducing costs associated with quality issues, supporting the organisation in its digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting production and other areas of the business in minimising remakes
  • Leading Quality Improvement Teams (QIT) to drive system improvements
  • Managing Pass/Fail system and monitoring Quality KPIs/Scorecards
  • Assisting in inspections throughout the production process
  • Calibration of equipment and adherence to SOPs and WIs
  • Testing management and adherence to relevant British Standards
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting production teams
  • Collaborating with Customer Service/Sales teams to implement corrective actions

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or NVQ in a related field
  • Proficient in MS 365/Office package
  • Methodical approach to issue identification and management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in audit and RCA (Route Cause Analysis) preferred

Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 with an hour unpaid break.
