Axon Moore are partnering with a market-leading company based in Bolton who are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. As part of their continued growth and ambitious investment plans, this newly created role is an outstanding opportunity to join the private equity investment business, who offer in return mentorship and progression opportunities.
This progressive new opportunity is well suited enthusiastic candidates, who will gain valuable experience in an exciting and varied role. As Accounts Assistant, you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress and increase responsibilities within the role.
The company also offers AAT study support.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accounts Payable – invoicing and payments
- Accounts Receivable – invoicing and credit control
- Resolving stakeholder queries
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing expenses
- Assisting with cashflow forecasting
- Production of weekly reports to management
- Process improvement within AP and AR
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least one years' experience within a similar finance position
- Studying or have the desire to study AAT
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hardworking approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organised and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible nature
