We are currently seeking a Senior HR Advisor to support our client going through a period of increased activity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR matters across a complex matrix organisation, ensuring the organisation's policies, procedures and legal obligations are met.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor until February 2025.

Reporting into the ER & Change Manager, you'll work closely with Senior HR Managers, operational managers, and colleagues to provide expert HR advice. You will support on a full range of HR issues including complex ER cases, such as disciplinaries, grievances and appeals and work on change management projects including organisational re-structures, redundancies and TUPE. You will act as an HR policy champion for the HR Advisory Service and ensure employees are listened to and treated fairly, and with respect and dignity.

Profile

What we're looking for

You'll not only be an experienced Senior HR professional, but you'll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. The successful applicant will have experience of working in a large organisation and using a case management system to manage a busy and varied workload. You'll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Sound employment law knowledge and experience, with a proven ability to provide practical advice, managing risk appropriately.
  • Experience of providing high quality HR advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders in complex HR situations.
  • Experience of change management and supporting change initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively challenge and influence other stakeholders.
  • Customer focused, with the ability to listen to and understand the viewpoints and needs of a range of stakeholders.
  • Good multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Good oral and written communications.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Desirable:

  • Experience of multi-site and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience of working in the Housing Sector.

Essential Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified to level 7.

Job Offer

  • Role is generously salaried at up to 55,000
  • A temporary contract to start ASAP
  • Hybrid and flexible working environment. No more than 2 days p/w required on-site.
