This organisation are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Events to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing and facilitating all corporate & social events, focussing on excellent customer experience.
Your new role
Within this position, your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Event Sales Enquiry process effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
- Support, guide, and mentor team members to ensure high colleague engagement and career progression
- Establish productive relationships with all meeting planners through the planning and implementation of programs
- Plan, organise, market and coordinate assigned conventions, including all food and beverage, meeting room set up, and recreational activities
- Guide clients by making suggestions regarding all aspects of the event to ensure all guests' expectations are met, and profitable margins are in place
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience of managing large-scale events across a variety of settings.
Ideally, you will have expertise within a range of events including corporate and large-scale functions. You will take the lead in marketing events, generating revenue and managing a culture of upselling within the team.
