Position: Operations Manager
Location: Sheerness
Salary: up to £50,000 with company car
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager based near the Port of Sheerness to manage a key contract.
In the role, you will lead a well-established team, build strong relationships with external stakeholders – and in the process instil trust and confidence – and perform wider HSEQ, budget responsibility and business development activities.
Principal Responsibilities
- Devise, implement and review operational processes and procedures to meet company and customer standards
- Report on progress and performance against plans and budgets
- Ensure adequate resource allocation to meet operational demand
- Promote best operational practices
- Develop effective working relationships with the Central Support and Technical teams to streamline operations
- Understand the customer's business inside out to meet and exceed their expectations and identify new opportunities to enhance the partnership
We are looking for?
- Detailed knowledge of the marine environment
- Experience in people management, development and organisation
- Composed, professional and resilient under pressure
- Human resources and industrial relations experience
