Empowering Learning working very closely with a 'Good' rated Secondary School in the Croydon, South London to find a skilled, compassionate Behaviour Specialist to help promote positive behaviour improvement. You will work closely with clients, families and other professionals to develop individualised behaviour support plans to enhance social skills and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Specialist:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify behaviour concerns and develop a comprehensive understanding plan to tackle underlying issues.
- Collaborate with families and clients to design behaviour support plans tailored to individualised plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, interventions, incidents, and observations.
- Utilise a range of behavioural strategies such as positive reinforcement and social skills training.
About you:
- You will be degree qualified or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a Behavioural Specialist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and families.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to critically think and analyse behaviour patterns
