We are currently working with a college who are looking for an Accountant on a three-month temporary to permanent basis to be based out of their Enfield site.
The role is due to start as soon as possible and the permanent salary on offer is £47,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will be an enhanced DBS holder and have experience working throughout the education sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing useful and relevant management information to the five key budget holders
- Assisting with the preparation of company cashflow forecasts, reporting and budgeting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and overseeing Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions to HMRC
- Processing month and year end journals, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Carrying out year-end reconciliations when required
- Assisting with all aspects of Financial Accounts as and when required
Experience and skills required:
- Experience working in the public sector, including Education and Not-for-Profit
- Experience of both Financial and Management Accounting
- Fully qualified/part-qualified Accountant

- 35.00 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
