We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Challenge-trg Recruitment team as a Warehouse Operative for a major high street supermarket focused on homeware products in Leeds, LS25 6PT.
Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:
- £11.95 per hour
- Night premium is paid from 10pm until 6am - £2.36 extra per hour.
- A good opportunity for overtime is available and is paid at time and a quarter.
Shifts:
This is a full-time role working:
- 4 on 4 off: 07:00 until 19:00 and 19:00 until 07:00
Or
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 15.30, 08:00 to 16.30 - 10.30 until 19:00
The Warehouse Operative role includes:
- Goods In/Unloading
- Putting items away
- Picking (either manual or via automated functions)
- Despatch/Loading items
- Returns
What do we expect from you as a Warehouse Operative:
- This role will involve lots of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.
- Applicants must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.
- Our perfect worker will have accuracy whilst picking at speed and show good attention to detail.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
