Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper
Seaford, East Sussex - £28,000 – £32,000 DOE

A fantastic opportunity to join a unique, growing accountancy practice with a friendly and supportive team. This role offers varied experience across bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and tax, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their career within practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping: accounts payable/receivable, data entry, supplier billing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Credit control and customer account management
- VAT returns and assisting with year-end accounts
- Supporting month-end reporting including fixed asset register and P&L
- Liaising with clients via phone and email to resolve queries
- Regular use of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and Client Engager
What's Needed:
- Studying towards or completed AAT qualification
- Minimum three years' experience in a practice setting
- Confident with Xero and Quickbooks
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset
