About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a leading law firm in Chelmsford. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to further their career in property law within a well-respected and dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors with the management of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and leases.
- Conducting legal research and liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
- Managing case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Handling exchanges of contracts and completions.
- Assisting with post-completion work, including registering properties with the Land Registry.
- Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal is essential.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and associated legal principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
