About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a leading law firm in Chelmsford. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to further their career in property law within a well-respected and dynamic legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with the management of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and leases.
  • Conducting legal research and liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Managing case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Handling exchanges of contracts and completions.
  • Assisting with post-completion work, including registering properties with the Land Registry.
  • Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and associated legal principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
