Enterprise Architect
A local public sector team are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead business change, rationalisation, and transformation, implementing strategic approaches, plans, activities, and solutions. This role is pivotal in designing cost-effective and scalable enterprise solutions in a multi-supplier environment, ensuring the delivery of high-volume digital services that meet organisational goals.
Day to Day of the role:
- Evaluate, interpret, and communicate complex data/information from multiple sources to inform decision-making.
- Design and implement enterprise solutions that are cost-effective, scalable, and suitable for a multi-supplier environment.
- Provide business assurance of designs and proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Utilise diverse and detailed technical knowledge across web applications and services, information, infrastructure, cloud, and managed service architectures.
- Plan and organise resources effectively to support project planning and resource management.
- Communicate and negotiate with external bodies, suppliers, and organisations to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in leading business change and transformation.
- Proven ability to design and implement enterprise solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains, including cloud and managed service architectures.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with external stakeholders.
- Relevant IT degree or significant experience in IT Architecture, System Design, Business and Technical Analysis, or management of significant ICT implementations.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent,
- Experience in an agile environment
