Registered Manager (Children's Residential Services)

We are seeking a Children's Registered Manager to lead a dynamic team within a ‘Outstanding' rated Children's Residential Home. This is an ideal role for a dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, empowering them to achieve positive outcomes.
Role and responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of care staff to deliver exceptional, child-centred care in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
- Operational lead for all safeguarding matters across the service.
- Positive role model and mentor to the team of care staff – Providing therapeutic care and support for each child.
- Contribute to overall improvements in the quality of care across the home – Leading performance reviews and appraisals, delivering training to staff and planning for developments within the home
- Build positive relationships with families, social workers, education providers and other professionals.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in a management or senior role within a similar setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services.
- Significant experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH and other complex needs.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
