Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive face-to-face psychological assessments of students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Develop individualised intervention plans and strategies based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement and monitor intervention plans.
- Provide direct support and counselling to students, addressing issues such as academic performance, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Offer training and professional development for school staff and parents on relevant psychological and educational topics.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in educational psychology and apply this knowledge to practice.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology and HCPC registered.
- Proven experience in conducting face-to-face psychological assessments with children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioural interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
