Project and Order Administrator
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Location: Woking, Surrey
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project and Order Administrator to join our team. This dual-role position involves booking customer orders into internal systems and supporting project administration activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Project Administration
- Monitor and update project cost forecasts
- Create system requisitions based on Supervisor and Project Manager input
- Track actual costs versus plans and report deviations
- Prepare revenue and cost plan updates for forecast reviews
- Ensure correct cost elements and activities are used in bookings
- Administer change orders and variation sales
- Manage system status for sales recognition, order closure, and archiving
Sales Order Administration
- Accurately and promptly book received orders into internal systems
- Validate project categorization and ensure all booking requirements are met
- Confirm the quality and completeness of order information
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of planned revenue and cost plans
- Configure billing plans in line with agreed terms
- Verify project profitability and customer data
- Manage role assignments and scheduling information
- Provide order booking details to the operations team
Key Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience in reporting and general administration
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is desirable
