Randstad education are assisting a vibrant and inclusive Primary School in Bradford in appointing a PA. community committed to providing an outstanding educational experience for our students. The role will be to support their Head Teacher in achieving the schools missions and goals.

Job Description:
As the Personal Assistant to the Head Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Head Teacher, enabling them to focus on educational leadership and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Manage the Head Teacher's diary, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations. Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the Head Teacher. Liaise with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organising school events, meetings, and assemblies. Ensure all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Task Management: Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Education: A minimum of GCSEs, including English and Mathematics. Additional qualifications in administration or office management are desirable.
  • Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
