Pay Rate: £19.39ph (£17.30 basic + £2.09hp)
As the new football season kicks off, we're thrilled to be hosting exclusive hospitality events at a top-tier stadium in Bristol for all home games. We're seeking a talented Senior Sous Chef to play a pivotal role in supporting our Head Chefs, leading the kitchen team, and ensuring every culinary detail is perfect. These live, open kitchens demand a professional who is not only skilled but also presentable, friendly, and passionate about delivering outstanding, high-energy dining experiences. If you have a background in stadia or corporate dining and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you'll excel in this role. We're looking for commitment to most home matches, primarily during evenings and weekends from August 2024 to May 2025. Are you ready to lead your team to culinary success this season?
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of chefs, fostering a positive and professional environment.
- Manage kitchen scheduling, cost control, and inventory to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a high-pressure, client-facing environment.
- Maintain a high level of presentation and professionalism in a live kitchen setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef role, with demonstrable leadership skills.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and HACCP protocols.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, and managing kitchen teams.
- Expertise in scheduling, cost control, and inventory management.
- Experience in high-end, fast-paced culinary environments, particularly in stadia or corporate settings.
- Availability for most home match days, including weekends and evenings.
