We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Walsall who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to start in the new academic year. This is a full-time position until December initially with the possibility to extend. To be successful, you will be a History Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative History lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching History / Humanities at secondary school level in the UK
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
