Page Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a national market leader who are looking to appoint a Planning & Dispatch Manager within their Customer Service Area. The role will oversee a function of 40fte across 2 teams, responsible for planning and arranging works to be carried out, around repairs, servicing and installations
Description
- Direct Management of 2 Team Leaders with indirect responsibility for 40 fte
- Develop, lead and engage the team to deliver operational targets and business strategy, striving for continuous improvement
- Create a customer focused approach across the operation
- Responsible for the planning of engineer workload across contractual and reactive streams, ensuring workforce efficiency is maximised
- Focus on strategic workforce planning processes which include capacity management, workload and revenue management
- Regularly review operating processes and procedures to ensure they are effective, fit for purpose, and deliver the best outcomes for both the customer and business
- Work with field operations to ensure there is enough resource available in each geographic area to deliver against business objectives
- Understand and challenge the variance in business performance, including root cause analysis, and development of mitigation plans including people, process, systems and metrics
Profile
- Experience managing a planning or dispatch function - open to industry ( field workforce optimisation, workforce / resource planning
- Strong experience leaving a customer focused operation
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident stakeholder manager across all levels
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience managing multiple varying SLA's / contractual requirements
Job Offer
The role of Dispatch & Planning Manager will join a national market leader at their offices in Halifax
The position offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience along with excellent company benefits.
Requirements are to be on site in Halifax 3 days per week, with the option to work 2 days from home
