Our client a global healthcare company are currently seeking a Facilities & HR Administrative Assistant to join their team in Cambridge. This is a key support role, working across both facilities management and HR operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of their UK office. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Carry out routine facilities compliance tasks (e.g., water temperature checks, fire safety inspections, energy usage reporting).
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers; manage office maintenance and room bookings.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring availability of resources and equipment.
  • Serve as a designated Fire Warden and First Aider, upholding health & safety standards.
  • Support HR administrative processes including recruitment logistics, employee records, and payroll data.
  • Assist with onboarding, induction coordination, benefits administration, and probation review tracking.
  • Maintain HR systems
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, HR Manager, and Facilities Manager to support broader administrative initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

About You:
Our client is looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in HR administration and facilities coordination, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
