Transactional Finance Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known, prestigious manufacturing brand, as we support them through their growth phase in the recruitment of a Transactional Finance Manager, based in South Northamptonshire. With significant investment into the business, you will be providing support to the SLT, whilst managing a small transactional finance team. We are looking for great people skills and resilience, to work in a fast paced, growing business.

The Job:

Reporting into the Head of the Department, you will be an ambitious and strategic Transactional Finance Manager, with responsibility to lead and develop the operational team that delivers best-in-class Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions.

Duties include:

  • Drive process improvement opportunities across the finance processes.
  • To lead a motivated, high-performing team of 3, delivering against clear objectives and development plans.
  • Ensure that all customer and supplier invoices are processed and paid on a timely basis and in line with contractual terms.
  • Ensure escalations are resolved on a timely basis and accuracy of all supplier and customer queries.
  • Be part of the leadership team, working proactively and professionally.
  • Contributing to the development and pursuit of strategic finance process goals.

The Requirements:

  • Experience within new projects, transactional finance, AR, AP and Treasury.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills.
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Positive and resilient; enjoys a busy, fast-paced way of working.
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic; an ability to generate ideas and streamline processes.
  • Finds reward in implementing change, setting a 'can do' example for the team.
