A fantastic opportunity has arisen here at UK Greetings and we are seeking the right person to support one of our key grocery accounts as a Customer Retail and Supply Manager. Working on this fast-paced and forward thinking account brings huge potential for the right candidate - it doesn't get much bigger than this!

This role will provide day to day leadership of a team of Customer Operations Co-ordinators and assume the responsibility for retail planning, on shelf availability, merchandising and point of sale for Sainsbury's.

Key duties of the role include:-

  • To provide a first class service to our internal and external customers.
  • End to end CDP management to ensure business critical deadlines are met
  • Co-ordinate all seasonal and everyday activity to ensure projects are implemented accurately and on time.
  • Providing a first class support to our field based merchandising team including thorough briefs for in store launch and implementation plans for Sainsbury's.
  • Seasonal Launch presentations to our Merchandising division.
  • Develop a strong relationship with the customer and conduct direct and frequent interaction at multiple levels and functions.
  • On Shelf availability monitoring and reporting, ensuring we meet contractual KPIs via tableau.
  • Oversee and understand customer EPOSR models in order to inform decisions on inventory flow and mitigate any risk to product availability to maximise sales.
  • Pro-active problem-solving to ensure Sainsburys have the correct support in place from UK Greetings to optimize their revenue.
  • Reviewing and implementing changes to business process/systems to improve efficiencies.
  • Oversee all display changes requested by the customer including re-plans, pocket changes, new stores and refits. Ensure checks are administered to maintain accuracy of store displays.
  • Support the Business Manager to deliver customer projects.
  • Briefing, negotiating and ordering all celebrations POS for Sainsbury's while and tracking budget spend.
  • Providing training and support on day-to-day operating process and best practice.
  • Prioritising workload in line with business projects and deadlines providing updates to the team so they are fully briefed on account activity.

  • Thorough understanding of the customers systems, processes and procedures to ensure we adhere to the customer expectations and needs.

Through collaboration with multiple internal departments you will strive to ensure operational excellence for our customer and that all contractual KPI's and budgets are met. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a customer focused role with the responsibility of managing and developing people. You should have strong organisational, communication and analytical skills along with knowledge of all Microsoft packages to an intermediate level.
