Are you someone with Head Chef experience, looking for an exciting new position? We are seeking someone creative to come in and assist in the kitchen development of a successful, family-owned bed and breakfast styled pub in the heart of Selsey.

Our client is looking to move away from their traditional menu towards a more eclectic style with you, the Head Chef taking the lead. Your general tasks will include menu planning, costing, staff budgeting and stock control/ordering. This role will require you to manage and train existing and new kitchen staff, whilst ensuring excellent Food Hygiene standards are upheld as well as adhering to all Health & Safety policies.

You will be working with 2 Sous Chefs and a Chef de Partie with a maximum of 65 covers. You will be working an average of 44 hours a week with 2 days off during the week. The hours can be flexible depending on the business demands. A competitive starting salary of £36k is being offered but is negotiable, depending on previous experience with a free meal being offered for shifts over 5 hours.

A successful candidate will have to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, whilst exhibiting great leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar Senior Chef role and be able to bring great, innovative ideas to the table.
