**Deckhand

A family-run marine & logistics business with over 125 years of history, is seeking experienced Deckhands to join our dynamic marine division. Our fleet operates across the UK and Northern Europe, engaging in diverse projects such as surveys, offshore energy, towage, and marine civil engineering. We offer a varied work environment where no two days are the same, and we are committed to safety, efficiency, and quality through continual modernisation of our fleet and staff training.

**Day to Day of the role:

  • Work on tugs and workboats, performing various marine operations.
  • Participate in surveys, offshore energy projects, towage, and support for marine civil engineering projects.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining our excellent safety record.
  • Operate and maintain equipment on board, including cranes and rigging, as required.
  • Be willing to travel and work in UK and Northern European waters as part of our diverse operations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Deckhand, preferably in a similar marine environment.
  • STCW Short Courses certification.
  • Approved Engine Course (AEC) qualification is desirable.
  • Valid ENG1 Medical certificate.
  • Crane Operator and Slinger Signaller certifications are advantageous.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for work.
