Teaching Assistant - Hackney
Classroom Support is excited to partner with a Primary school in Hackney, searching for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team starting immediately or September 2024. This position promises a long-term commitment extending into the next academic year, operating consistently on a long-term supply basis.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in supporting children with challenging behaviours.
- Ability to establish meaningful connections with pupils who struggle to engage.
- Previous experience in Mainstream or SEN school settings is advantageous.
- Firm yet compassionate approach to handling challenging situations.
- Experience supporting children with ASD or ADHD is beneficial.
- Availability to commit to working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS with a children's barred check, registered on the update service.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £85.00-£95.00 per day
