We are thrilled to be recruiting for this established, friendly and industry leading business in Ware who are seeking a conscientious, hard working and organised new employee to join their Shipping team.
A heavily organisation and schedule focused role, the successful applicant will be the organisational face and voice of the business and be able to combine their ability on the telephone, with an efficient and organised administrative background to enjoy this rounded opportunity.
A calming, but confident and logical approach to communicating with people both internally and externally, with proven background in a similar role would certainly be essential - the role has a seriously proactive side, with the forward planning to spot problems and risks before they happen.
Key duties include:
- Daily UK and European planning of all deliveries and associated transportation challenges.
- Coordinate all shipping activities, liaising between other departments in the business and the end customer.
- Working closely with other departments in the business including Warehouse, Transport and Customs.
- Completing all administration related to shipping, including Customs paperwork, invoices and quotes from international delivery agents.
- Work closely with clients to understand the specific needs of their shipments.
