- Business Development Representative
- £30,000 per annum basic
- £5000 annual performance bonus, paid quarterly
- NG1, NO parking
Due to internal promotion our client, a specialist professional services organisation with a reputation for providing the highest quality of service, are keen to appoint a skilled Sales Development Representative!
You will engage new business opportunities which will support the growth of the overall Business Development team.
You'll be a natural self-starter with a flair for communication. This is a B2B role so you will be able to communicate effectively with different clients, from larger corporate organisations through to smaller scale operations.
Duties:
- Calling new potential clients with the aim of booking new business appointments
- Qualifying prospects to a high level to offer the best chance of conversion
- Maintaining CRM system with accurate data
- Building and managing a pipeline
- Working closely with the Account Management team to identify areas of opportunity.
- Researching new potential targets
- Following up marketing / networking events
About you:
- You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who can build effective relationships with a variety of audiences, through a confident and positive attitude.
- You'll be resilient, effectively handling objections.
- You will have the ability to identify what keeps the customer awake at night with the talent to link them to areas of our business that can add value.
- You'll be self-motivated, and a great team player, adding value to strong, well-rounded team.

Previous experience selling within the professional services or recruitment market would be desirable.
